Okay, I've decided to set the record straight about which projects I'm actually working on. Lestrella called me on the carpet the other day, saying that she was wondering if I have finished all the projects I've talked about in the forum.
Well, it was reckoning day for me, I guess. I had to admit that sometimes I have lost interest in some projects, and just frogged them. Other times, I didn't really like the way they looked. So, they went the way of the frog also. :teehee:
So, here is a list of all the projects I started, but never finished. To redeem myself, I will also list the projects I'm still plugging away on. So, I'm not really THAT bad, I guess. :)
Unfinished Objects that were FROGGED:
Garter Stitch Tunic (http://www.knittinghelp.com/knitting/forum/viewtopic.php?p=183663&highlight=garter+stitch+tunic#183663) - Didn't like how thick the knitting was. Decided I would rather have a thinner top.
Cat's Paw Socks for Angelia (http://www.knittinghelp.com/knitting/forum/viewtopic.php?t=15033&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=cats+paw&start=0) - never could get the "cat's paw" lace pattern to be the right size around the ankle or leg.
Wimple with Debbie Bliss Alpaca Silk (http://www.knittinghelp.com/knitting/forum/viewtopic.php?p=256128&highlight=bliss+wimple#256128) - the wimple was not "laying" right, and I didn't see the purpose of trying to block a circular garment, that would just be laying around my neck most of the time.
Irish Hiking Scarf (http://www.flickr.com/photos/59646927@N00/118407170/in/set-1808355/) - I'm not too thrilled with wearing a scarf that has a right side and a wrong side.
Dipsy Cable Lace Scarf (http://www.knittinghelp.com/knitting/forum/viewtopic.php?t=21589&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=malabrigo+scarf&start=0) - same problem. The design looks bad on the wrong side.
Fall Shrug with TLC Essentials (http://www.knittinghelp.com/knitting/forum/viewtopic.php?p=274732&highlight=fall+shrug#274732) - I didn't like how wide the arms were on the shrug, so I've decided to look for a different pattern.
Sweet Delight Socks (http://www.knittinghelp.com/knitting/forum/viewtopic.php?p=297491&highlight=sweet+delight+socks#297491) - I didn't like the way the yarn felt. Not what I wanted to wear on my feet.
And NOW, here are the UFO's that I'm still working on:
Willa Top (http://www.knittinghelp.com/knitting/forum/viewtopic.php?p=437137&highlight=willa#437137) with Incredible yarn
Noro Kureyon Bag (http://www.knittinghelp.com/knitting/forum/viewtopic.php?p=235710&highlight=noro+bag#235710)
Socks for a musical friend
Rust Thick & Quick Sweater (http://www.knittinghelp.com/knitting/forum/viewtopic.php?p=124190&highlight=thick+sweater#124190)
Cozy, with Indiecita Alpaca yarn (http://www.knittinghelp.com/knitting/forum/viewtopic.php?t=13392&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=cozy&start=0)
Oh! And I recently finished two items.
