That's great! I could have surely used it when I knit my first sweater. I just blundered along and of course used you ladies when I was stumped!

WOW - just in time for my first sweater!! It is a VERY clear tutorial- perfect for me!! thank you for the link!
I have a question about this though. The yarn I have ordered for my first sweater is Berroco Touche (http://www.berroco.com/yarns/touche.html), which is 50% cotton and 50% rayon. I think I read somewhere that cotton yarn in a sweater sags or stretches, and it's better to have seamed sides to avoid that - is that correct?

That's a nifty site! :) I haven't read through the whole thing yet, but it said that you end up with a sweater in women's size 48... does anyone know what that translates to in 'normal' (american?) sizes?

Gosh I don't know...I hate seaming so avoid it like the plague. :teehee:
I don't know about sizes either..didn't see that on the pattern.

I read some more of the pattern, and it looks like 48 is the circumference of the sweater.

Just in time I was thinking of doing my very first sweater. I have been so not wanting to do one. Gauge thing I think but it gives that also.
