View Full Version : Tip Length On Circular Needles

I hate to ask a dumb question, and I tried to search for the answer...

Do most 16" circular needles have really short tips like the KP Classic Circs? I just can't stand those <expletive deleted> things. My hands were aching after a few rounds.

Anyone have some sets they'd be willing to measure and give me an idea if I can get some 16" circs that have reasonably long tips. I've wondered about the Bryspun circs, because the pictures look like the cables are basically an extension of the tip (but I've never seen them up close). I have just normal sized hands for a man, so I don't need ginormous tips, but longer than the KP Classics.

On the rare occasions I've needed shorter circs that I can get with KP Options, I've used the short cable with my Denise set.

Just wondering if there are different lengths of the tips.

what about knitting your projects that you want 16 inchers for....on 2 circs or with magic loop?

I don't know if it makes a difference what size needles they are but I have a 16" size 10 with 4" tips. (fron tip to begining of cord)
