I am looking for a simple button, or zipper cardigan pattern. It's for my mom who insists it come way down past her waste. Most of the patterns I have seen are for a waste length pattern, and to be honest this is the first time I've ever tried to knit a sweater. Socks, scarves and hats I've got down so the pattern should be pretty simple.

If anyone has a favorite pattern, or have a web site I can look around that would be great.

I am hoping to make it out of worsted weight, maybe a little thicker. Nothing light weight, she gets cold easily.

Thanks

Knitting PUre & Simple has the easierst directions and cardigans I know. I just finished the zip front and love it. You can make them longer than the pattern calls for quite easily.
