I was so saddened by what Locke put Sawyer through last night. Sawyer doesn't "do it" for me I guess mainly because I find him so obnoxious. (I'm a die hard Desmond girl) But last night I found myself feeling so bad for him and the lost little boy he once was-and still in so many ways is.

I think its really crappy that kates playing him... and Jack just pisses me off here lately. His fling with little miss fertility specialist just makes me sick.

Of course I might feel completely different after the next episode.

*sigh* Am I over emotionally invested in this show? Probably. Is waiting a week to catch a climpse of Henry Ian Cusick worth it? Absolutely.

I thought that last night's take was interesting. Are they dead and in "purgatory" or hell? It seems plausible because almost everyone has a bad secret (except for Hurley). But like my son said, they've all had bad luck.

A lot of Losties are going to be very upset about the purgatory thing. People have been guessing that for a while now and I know a lot of fans are sort of anti the Island being purgatory.

I think it is interesting either way and sort of fits in with the themes of the show and the characters names (Rousseau, John Locke, etc.).
Sawyer doesn't really do it for me either.

Jack is hot when he isn't being a butthead manipulated by everyone around him.

Maybe Hurley does have a secret, but we just dont know it yet.

I think they put the pergatory thing in on purpose because thats what a lot of fans guessed. But the directors came out and said that is totally not the answer.

So, what is?

And what is Jack and Juliana's little secret?

Man I miss being able to see LOST, but I just can't stay up. I also got really angry with it last season, I don't know, maybe it's me but it just seemed that everyone with the exception of Echo and Hurley turned into either a whiner or a jerk. I never liked Sawyer, Michael or Locke. I guess I'll have to rent the dvds when they come out.

You could do what I do -- go to ABC's web site and watch the episodes on your computer!

I've never watched Lost on TV since they moved it to 10 p.m., too late for me, too! But I love watching it on my PC. There's way fewer commercials, too.

and what about Ben calling himself HENRY GALE? (A Wizard of Oz reference)

I think Sawyer is TOTALLY hot! ;)

But there was a real Henry Gale buried there. They showed his ID.

I swear, the more confoozled I get the more I love the show.

Mark my words. I think this is a story created by Stephen King for TV. Anyone who's read The Dark Tower series will see a lot of similarities. Stephen King is known for doing things anonymously and I wouldn't be surprised if he's a silent producer.

In any event, last night's epi was fantastic. Although it was hard for him, I'm happy for Sawyer. I think he can now finally get over his past.

And the producers have said since very early on, this is not purgatory or hell. If it is, there will be some VERY angry fans out there. Me included.

I am really liking Lost this season. I lost interested last year but I really like it this year. I have always loved Sawyer...he was a jerk but he gets all the best lines and they are funny too. He reminds me of such a wounded man and his backstory is so sad. Can't stand Jack...never liked him. He is soooo arrogant.

Sing it with me now...

"Desperado, why don't you come to your senses?
You been out ridin' fences for so long now.
Oh you're a hard one,
But I know that you've got your reasons,
These things that are pleasin' you,
Can hurt you somehow."

Don't you drawwww the Queen of Diamonds, boy
She'll beat you if she's able.
You know the Queen of Hearts is always your best bet....

Oh, wow -- I couldn't agree with you more! I kept thinking I should like Jack, he's a doctor, a good guy, right? But he's just so angry and doesn't seem to have ANY sense of humor. I've never really understood what Kate sees in him.

Well, I figured since he was the "star" we should like him, but I couldn't figure out what was so likable about him. And as for Kate....can't figure that out either.

I liked him in the beginning but after awhile he did become tiresome and last season he became just plain annoying. As I said in my last post, to me most of the characters became either whiners or jerks, Jack joined the latter category.

I love LOST! It's one of my "don't miss" shows! Some characters can be annoying, but they all play off each other and somehow it wouldn't be the same without them IMO.

Has anyone else noticed how they have been messing with the "rules" of the island? Last weeks episode EyePatch guy( can't remember his name) said that wounds are different on the Island. But wouldn't that mean that the Marshall wouldn't have died in the first season? And what about Boone he should have healed after the fall. Do you have to be "special" to heal? And what exactly constitutes special? Also how did the guy who gave Locke the file get on the island? I am pretty sure he wasn't there before.

I truly love this show and all the conspiracy theories it generates. I agree that is seems very Stephen King, I would not be surprised if he is involved.

I watched last night also. I'm behind as I watched the first 2 seasons on DVD and within a few weeks. So I was trying not to watch this season, but couldn't help myself.

I don't think they are in purgatory, I think whatever the "others" are up they have a connections to big money. I think they planted the wreck in the middle of the ocean and replaced the missing bodies with different dead bodies.

Of course I'm curious about the big parts of the craft that were on the island. The nose in the jungle and the big section on the sand. I know that took that section out of the set. We are supposed to assume they moved their camps a little ways away from it.

The producers of the show apparently announced on their podcast that it is not purgatory.

I guess it was just Locke's father being wrong or he was told to say that to Locke by the others in some sort of mind control fashion.

I still want to know what happened to Micheal and his son

And what did Rouseau need dynamite for?

And Jack says "don't tell her...yet" what does that mean?

and why did Hurley and Charley and Chen and Desmond keep the falling woman a secret?

Are they still getting food drops from Dharma? And who IS dharma anyway?

Hurley does have a secret. THe numbers remember. BUt then the car ride helped him get over that. Dude, i  Hurley

You know...the whole show I thought that Locke's father was an illusion and that he was suddenly going to turn into Sawyer's father or something. It was weird when he was real.

Very interesting show...

He was the doctor who recruited Juliet to the island.

I CAN'T WAIT to see next week's episode!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know but I thought he wasn't on the island. They've never shown him there before have they :?? . I thought he was a working for Dharma in the States or where ever Dharma is based.

I believe Dharma faked the crash site in the ocean. They seem to be capable of a lot of things!
I will be so mad if it is Puragtory. I know the writer keep saying it's not but...

The producers are pretty open about being huuuuge Stephen King fans. On their podcast last year (I think...it's been a while ;) ) they talked about getting to meet him and go to the movies with him. :D
