Since everyone always has questions about knitting needles in carry on luggage I thought I'd just let y'all know I was in Cabo last week and had no trouble bringing my needles back in to the country. This was not my experience coming back from Cancun a few months ago so I was pleasantly surprised this trip. Just an FYI :)

According to the TSA website, knitting needles are specifically permitted in both carryon and checked luggage.

I understand that. However, I have had difficulty getting them back in the states from Mexico specifically. (I travel there a lot)-most especially after the London incident. I've had the TSA rules with me on each occasion and this is the first time I was not stopped.

The final decision is still up to each airline/airport. KathyinCali's experience proves this.
