I sent my sister a Priority Mail package for her birthday. I scarf that I knit. It was supposed to arrive in 2-3 days. It took 10! Now I use Fed Ex ground.

I've had problems with things taking longer than they're supposed to also. Its such a bummer when you see its just been sitting somewhere for days (in your case a few weeks). Maybe there's you can talk to someone at the post office who can help you out and let you know what's going on with it because that seems really abnormal to me that it would be sitting in NJ for 2 weeks. Also, I'd suggest letting your buyer know what's going on, I'm sure most peple will see that its not your fault and hopefully be understanding. I hope everything works out for you.

Ugg, the post office near my father's house was run by a bunch of crooked employees. They would open packages frequently and take stuff, and even delay the delivery of holiday and birthday packages by six months or more! :!!!:

USPS is very unreliable.

I have found them reliable lately
but I have to admit, if I NEVER insure or return reciept them, they all seem to get through

My mom's Vicodin prescription was stolen while at the USPS. And my shipment from Katsara took a week and it only had to travel about200 miles. I don't trust them much.

our mac display was stolen right out of the fed ex ground depot cage (where they put all the theoretically super high profile locked up and counted stuff) by someone that worked there.
and no one even noticed it until we called complaining after it had supposedly been sitting 3 days -- and it took another 2 DAYS for them to get back to us and tell apple to send us a new one.
never again!

but I love the govt. postal workers near us to death.
there are probably problems with every method, though.

anyway, glad your stuff got there!

Funny you should say that...Ridgewood was the town that had the "postal" postal worker. :oo:
