I finally finished the sweater I've been working on. I love how it turned out. I started with this (http://www.knitnstyle.com/projects/capsleeveraglan_jun05.shtml) pattern, but did it top down in the round. I had to do the front panel backwards (worked row 10 first). The yarn is KP's Shine Sport.

Shine sport is a DK/sport weight yarn..how did you adapt the pattern since it's for bulky? It came out beautiful!

Jan - The yarn in the pattern isn't actually bulky but worsted. But I have a book (http://www.amazon.com/Knitting-Sweaters-Top-Down-Fabulous/dp/1579908586/ref=pd_bxgy_b_img_b/002-0872813-1143251) that tells how many stitches to cast on for the neck depending on gauge. Then you just do the raglan increases until the raglan lines meet under the arm. That's what's so great about top down in the round, you can try it on as you go to get a good fit.

Beautiful job! The sweater is gorgeous and the fit is perfect! That is one pattern I may have to knit for myself. I could wear it in south florida!

I'm a fairly new knitter. I haven't tried a sweater yet - only scarves. Do most people knit sweaters in the round or in sections and sew them together?
