quick & classy clutch question...

sooooo i am trying to make the "quick and classy clutch" on this website: http://www.bellafilati.com/yarn%20and%20knitting%20hot%20items.html#Quick%20&%20Classy%20Clutch and i am having trouble with the cables. they look WAY wrong. i thought maybe the problem was a misprint in the pattern....it says to slip 4 stitches onto the cable needle but i think it means 6. i tried doing 6 instead and the cable still looks really wrong, too much bunching in the back. maybe i just don't have enough experience with cables and this is how they are supposed to look? any advice would be GREATLY appreciated!

It's right, I think. You're using the 12 stitches for the cables, but there are 3 sections to each cable--more like a braid than a twist, so each time you slip to a cable needle you do 4.

thanks ingrid for your advice! i guess i just don't have very much experience with cables to even recognize that it is more of a braid cable. i will try it again and see how it turns out. thanks again!
