Hello all,

I was wondering what everyone uses for worsted weight socks? I would like to make a bunch of wintery type socks for holiday gifts but haven't found any interesting worsted weight sock yarns?

Socks That Rock (http://www.bluemoonfiberarts.com/colorway_categories.php) and Artyarns Supermerino (http://yarn.com/webs/0/0/0/0-1001-1294-1323/0/0/1088/) are my favorites. :inlove:

One thing about worsted weight yarn is that the socks may be too thick to be worn comfortably with shoes. So that's one thing you might want to consider.

I can't think of any worsted weight yarns that are specifically for socks. There are some DK weight ones that I am aware of. I think Opal makes one. In worsted weight you should look for superwash yarns. Cascade makes a superwash in worsted weight.
