I am not allowing myself to buy anymore yarn until I use up my stash. I have 4 baskets worth...and no more room to put any. If you have any cute quick patterns, feel free to share them. It seems like it is going to take forever to do this..

LOL, I'm afraid I don't speak that language, "not buying more yarn" I just make room for more yarn, LOL!
It does happen, quickly, though, doesn't it, the accumulation of yarny goodness?! I LOVE IT!!!

What about a nice pair of mitts (http://www.knitty.com/issuesummer06/PATTfetching.html), a bracelet (http://www.knitty.com/issuesummer06/PATTperdita.html), or legwarmers?

Do you want stuff for yourself or are you knitting for charity? What kind of yarns do you have?

There is a sticky thread in the charity forum with patterns and the beauty of charity knits is you can use up lots of the little bits of yarn. Those little sweaters eat up quite a bit of yarn, too!

Most of it is acrylic, a few leftover skeins of wool. Most of it wasn't originally mine; I took my moms and sisters when I came home from college. I think I'm going to Crochet a Granny Square Blanket. I started working on a Basketweave, but it kind of looks like vomit so I'm ripping it out.:ick:

I joined the stashbusting thread for a while. Wasn't long before I said the heck with it. Now I just buy all the yarn I want and don't even feel a twinge of guilt about it. :roflhard:

I feel the need to help keep the economy moving forward. Every little big helps.

If most of your stuff is acrylic and not your style, DONATE IT! Get some stuff you REALLY LOVE! There are lots of people looking for donated acrylic yarns... Just check out the forum for buy/sell/swap. Several people have put in requests. I THINK this is a link for it:
http://www.knittinghelp.com/knitting/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=19
Then you can really ENJOY knitting with really GREAT yarn!

Glad y'all liked the comic. I got it in an email today! I have a big cabinet for my stash with more coming (let me check my LittleKnits Order) next Tuesday! :woot::cheering::woot:

Actually, I get through projects pretty fast, so my stash isn't TOO big. Mostly leftover yarn! :)

I like acrylic yarn! I can't wear any animal stuff, so, while silk and cotton are my favourites, acrylic is good for me...

I like acrylic too...because it's cheap.
