I really want to use it for my newest project (http://i174.photobucket.com/albums/w106/leradny/Rinoa%20and%20Squall/Rinoa/135623ZZZ20Rinoa207.jpg), but I don't know how bias tape works on knit fabric.

Is there something special I have to watch out for? Or do I just sew it on like for regular fabric?

Is this something for you or a doll? An article of clothing that large would have a lot of stretch in it which would make it difficult to use something like bias tape on since it does not stretch.

As Jan says- bias tape doesn't stretch at all, and the vest will. Where in the project did you want to use it? if you are convinced you need it, I would get the double fold kind to make it easier to run thru the sewing machine. just my 2 cents...

To Jan: Yes, it is for me. But if it helps, I'm using a 100% cotton yarn, which I'm told doesn't stretch quite as much as any other fiber?

To marykz: I wanted to use the bias tape all around the edges of my project, like the armholes, the collar, etc.
