Hmmmm there's some nice stuff there! Thanks for the heads up! I'm off to my lys down the street for their big summer sale (The Yarn Company) so I'll wait til I get back....

Anybody use Garnstudios yarns? They have one called Drops Ice that looks pretty luscious.

and then there's this, it looks like it'd make something really interesting. subtle. beige marl. hmmmmm

Jeanius, yarn from seaweed! That's amazing. I haven't seen that. Now I like to eat seaweed so maybe I would like to knit with it too! have you used it? is it pretty/durable/? What did you make with it if you did use it? thanks

It's really popular. I think the portion of it that is actually seaweed is some really tiny percentage. Oh, wait, I'm not sure if you're talking about sea wool or sea silk. Anyway, here is a flickr search for sea silk: http://www.flickr.com/search/?q=sea%20silk&w=all

Aw, crap! I tried to fight it, but I had to buy something. I just couldn't resist the urge!!! I got enough Rowan 4ply cotton in Ripple (http://www.ramwools.com/index.cfm?pageID=3&section=116&prodID=4141) for a sweater and some more Noro (color #157) (http://www.ramwools.com/index.cfm?pageID=3&section=420&prodID=3492) for a Booga.

Darn sales!!!!:teehee:
