I bought some burgundy cherry tree hill sock yarn that turned out to be fuchsia so I was hoping here someone would be able to give me some advice on how to turn it a real burgundy.
or am I just best off dyeing it black?
any recommendations for a dye brand for that?
(I've only seen primary colors.)

thanks!

hmm... a real burgundy... it depends on what color you want your burgundy to be... we've dyed some yarn with a lot of black cherry koolaid and it turned out a nice dark rich red color. I don't think i would just do black because then you might end up with a patchy black...

hmm... maybe someone else will be along with some more advice...

opposite of red is green, so i would think if you over dyed it with a muted green you would end up with a darker red. if you have a LYS that also sells dye, i would take your yarn there and see if they can advise you which color to use. thats what i would do. my LYS owner dyes and offers 1 on 1 help too
