Does anyone know if this pattern http://www.patternworks.com/productdetail.aspx?PRODID=800845

for the Sock it to Me baby set is the same as this pattern http://plymouthyarn.com/index.php?nav=cPatterns.patternGallery&pattern_id=000018&yarn_id=000098
from Plymouth?

They both use Sockotta.

They look similar, but it's a little hard to tell from the photo. In my experience pattern photos are generally the same from site to site for a pattern though.

I thought so too Jan - and it just the dumbest reason thtat I am asking. One company has the pattern for $3 more than another company, although the yarn is the same price. I'm knitting on a budget here and I will take savings anywhere I can get them. Am I not completely insane? LOL

I happened to notice that one of the jackets has ribbing on the bottom and on the cuffs. I bet they aren't the same pattern.

I also found a pattern on Knitty that looks nice too. I haven't gotten the yarn yet, but I did borrow the needles from my MIL so I could cast on immediately upon getting the yarn - as I am wont to do!) Those tiny needles are very intimidating...
