In North Idaho. Kinda in between Coeur d'Alene and Sandpoint, but a little west.

I too am in Idaho, but I'm a little too far south to get with you to knit or crochet. I'm down by Boise, in a little town called Kuna.

I'm not in Sandpoint anymore. But yes, Blanchard would only be about an hour drive. Or you guys could get together in Rathdrum or CDA.

I know Kuna, Rorshach; I grew up in Nampa.

Hi!
I have gone through Blanchard on the way to Farragut St. Pk. I live in Colbert, WA which is just North of Spokane and South of Deer Park. Maybe if you come west a little we could meet somewhere?

Suzeeq-I love Sandpoint!! Do you still live in the area?

hehe, jenn, you're in boise, eh? well anytime you want to hook up and chat, shoot me a message, I'm pretty sure I can break away from my normal stuff for a few hours. Though what would be really ironic is if we worked in the same place.

Yeah! I'm only 17 though, so if we evermeet up i would have to bring my mom with me (her rules) but she knits too, so it's all good.

Hello Idaho Knitters!

I am spearheading the West Coast Oddball Baby Blanket project (http://knittinghelp.com/forum/showthread.php?t=81361) over in the Charity forum.

Please take a stroll over there and see if it's anything you would be interested in joining.

Don't worry if you're not into big commitments. This is the project for you!

The way it works is that each knitter knits 4" of a baby blanket, usually 90-100 stitches, using worsted or dk (depending on the blanket) weight, acrylic yarn. You can choose the pattern of your choice, keeping within the three stitch garter edging. Then, when you're done, you send the blanket to the next knitter, leaving the stitches on the needles. Everything travels together.

Each blanket takes about six knitters. You get two weeks to complete your portion. I've found it takes me only one evening...sometimes two.

If you'd like to join us, you can either send me a PM, or you can post a note in THIS (http://knittinghelp.com/forum/showthread.php?t=81361) thread. I'll watch for it, send you a request for more information, and then we're set to go.

Come join a worthwhile endeavor. You'll be blessed beyond your wildest imagination.

I look forward to hearing from you!

Just resurrecting this thread to see if there are more Idahoans out there -- I'm in Boise, ID. (almost meridian) :)

I'm a former resident, from both ends of the state. I'll be going to my HS reunion in Nampa in a month. Anyone want to get together the weekend of the 19th?

Boise here too..
Do we have a group that meets regularly? I was thinking about going to the knit-wits group or the fuzz group..

Nice to see representation from Idaho here!:knitting:

Alpaca Direct is moving to Coeur d'Alene at the end of April. They have groups that meet in the store and teach classes. That is a great way to meet other knitters!
