Yarn Substitute Suggestions?

Ok, I've been mulling it over...and I've got a burning desire to knit Intolerable Cruelty (http://www.knitty.com/ISSUEfall06/PATTcruelty.html).

Has anyone knit this? What yarn did you use? I've checked out the KAL but I find it hard to navigate.

Can anyone suggest a good fiber to knit this with aside from the bamboo (which I can't find)? What about weight...this seems like it's about a sport weight to me, yeah?

Try cotton! It's soft, comfortable, and easy to use. Try Lily Sugar and Cream cotton or Lion Brand cotton! Hope this helps! :heart:
