I got this pattern from the Valley Yarns catalog. The yarn I used was a cotton/bamboo blend, it worked up nicely. I'm trying to work on the matching shrug but it's on DPN's and I've never used them before. It might be a WIP for a loooong time...

The pattern is called "Sunrise Camisole". I got it from the Valley Yarns catalog (2007). Thank you to everyone for all of your nice comments! I wore it for the first time on Monday and this lady stopped me on the sidewalk. She asked me where I bought my top because her daughter was looking for knit tops. When I told her I made it she couldn't believe it! I was so happy!:cheering:

Oh groovy! Did you just BEEM? That was a great compliment. Of course, seeing your shell top, you definitely deserve it.

Might I inquire as to the brand of yarn you used? I saw that it was a cotton/bamboo blend and I'm interested in checking this type of yarn out for a project on my "to-do" list.

Thanks.

It's called "Southwick". I ordered it from the same catalog. The color is "flamingo".

Your knitting is as beautiful as YOU ARE!
That pattern is just right! I must look around for something similar to wear under a cardigan I made. That pattern is so way cool!

Thanks for sharing your work with us!

Gorgeous! I love it!

Now for the important question: How do you get on that mailing list for the catalog? I can't seem to find anything on the internet besides the yarn, which looks totally yummy!

Beautiful job! :yay:

That top is PERFECT on you..........what a wonderful job you did !

Perhaps for the shrug, you could switch to the MagicLoop method.........it works for all kinds of smaller diameter knitting in the round, you know ! We don't want to have to wait TOO LONG to see that matching shrug !
