You can see my newest FO on my blog... and if you do, thanks for looking.
I still can't figure out how to post a photo here!

ETA: Sorry everyone... I tried doing what Aaron suggest (insert image icon then type the URL where it's located) but the pic doesn't show in my post. :(

Nicely done, Winterblues, I love the colors that you used. By the way, to add an image, since you have a URL where the picture is located, you can use the insert image icon then type the URL where it's located, otherwise, you can also upload the image using the "attach file" button when you first create your post. Hope this helps you in future posts :)

I love that top! I really like the double spaghetti straps. Great job!

08-23-2007, 09:59 PM
Thanks so much for the lovely compliments everyone!! :muah:

It's my own creation and it was quite easy... all I did was work straight up in a feather and fan stitch until I was happy with it's length and then made 4 i-cords, attached them (that part was so aggravating!!) and hey presto.

Lovely! The colors are great and the fit looks fabulous.

One of these days I'm really going to have to do a very fine gauge knit like this. It's so flattering. Love it.

08-24-2007, 02:19 PM
Looks great and perfect fit! I really like the one you have started on the manequin too.

I love the new top your working on also. Is that you easy peasy top with a lace stitch incorporated into the sleeves?

Beautiful job, and the combination of colors looks very nice.:yay::yay:

08-26-2007, 04:40 AM
quiltbugj: No, Frog is knit bottom up and in the round,
whereas Easy Peasy Tee is knit top down and in the round.

08-26-2007, 04:02 PM
I guess I wasn't clear, I meant the newest one that is light pink with the lace on the sleeve portion and it has a lower rounded neck.

08-27-2007, 04:14 AM
Oh I'm sorry I misunderstood you!

Yes the contruction of the pink sweater is very much like my Easy Peasy Tee, but the neck line is obviously a little different and a *tiny* bit more complicated, although easy enough to work out. :flirt:

08-27-2007, 07:52 AM
Is there a pattern for the pink one? (Oh - I do hope your hand is feeling better!)

08-27-2007, 05:19 PM
That is gorgeous! . . .. And dare I say - inspirational! I wish I could do something like that!:yay::yay:

08-27-2007, 06:14 PM
Hey, I love your video! good luck, but before ya go can I have the pattern for your gag gift??? lool Wendy

08-27-2007, 10:04 PM
quiltbugj: Thanks... my hand feels a little better as time goes by. :violin:
I am writing out the pattern for the pink top and thinking about selling it in the near future. I've never sold a pattern before so it's a little frightening to know there could be huge mistake(s) throughout it (even though I'm trying my best to be clear and precise) and then I will be known as "that person with the crappy patterns"!! The shame I would feel.... :pout:

honeybunmom: It's a really easy top and can knit it!
I might be posting a free pattern for it soon on my blog. :woohoo:

08-27-2007, 10:10 PM
Oops, nearly forgot goodwench2973:

Are you talking about somebody else in this thread? Because I don't have a video or a gag gift on my blog. :oo:

08-28-2007, 09:09 AM
LOL Hemp has a video link in her post, in the video she makes a gag gift..... you should watch it her video is cute. she is trying out for a reality show. sorry, i'm still new with the posting thing and i was confused whos thread it was... :(

I just wanted to let you know that I love your pink sweater you made in your page. It is beautiful. ( I was wondering what sweater everyone was talking about!!) I love the cables on the short sleeves and how do you put smilies in these things anyway??

08-29-2007, 04:06 AM
That's ok goodwench2973, I was wondering what you were going on about! :roflhard:

Thanks for the compliment on my latest pink sweater design - I really can't wait to finish it!

To put smilies just click on the one that you'd like to use at the end of the page (you can see them while you are posting or in a reply page). There are others beside those ones, but I chose mine when I signed up with this forum so you'd have to go into your account to find out how to get those I think.

Maybe somebody can help goodwench2973 with that?

Oh, I love that pink sweater in progress ! Could you share your pattern, please ! It's absolutely gorgeous !

And you can always use this site to make a picture to post here......

Just shrink a pic from your computer, save it to your computer and then insert it using the 'manage attachments' button in a reply. It'll fit !
