Do you know what yarn is used for the trim on this hat?

It kinda looks like dyed roving to me??? But I'm a newbie so I'm not certain.

If I had to say it was a commercial yarn, I'd guess that it's something by Filatura di Crosa. They have lots of novelty/fluffy artyarn types of yarns. (FdC: Yarndex (http://www.yarndex.com/search.cfm?action=search_adv&ss=Filatura+Di%20Crosa&wt_1=&wt_2=on&wt_3=&wt_4=&wt_5=&wt_6=&man_id=17&CFID=10050740&CFTOKEN=10462751))

But it looks more like a handspun art yarn to me...maybe you could find something similar on Etsy (http://www.etsy.com).
