I found a really neat fulled slipper pattern at Warm Woolies (http://www.warmwoolies.org/booties.html). It almost takes longer to full them than to knit them! I started out with the smallest size just to see how they'd come out. They are too small for my grand daughter who turned 2 yesterday, so I'm guessing between a year and 18 months?
I started the largest size last night with a different "cuff". We'll see how these turn out. And the size can be adjusted by how much time spent fulling.
I don't think it would be too hard to expand the size for an adult either.
