Well, it's an itty bitty thing and I think grossly overpriced. I could make the same thing using yummy soft environmentally firendly bamboo for a WHOLE lot less than what they are selling it for. I mean a really whole lot less! Like $230 less than what they are selling it for. It's a cute "scarflet" and I may make one for my mom. But not from the kit.

You could even make one using the exact same cashmere yarn (http://www.yarnmarket.com/yarn/Karabella_Yarn-Supercashmere_Yarn-1861.html) that they're using for a whole heck of a lot less.

Not that I would make one. They're not that cute, IMO.

There's a group on Ravelry (I think it's called "Smidge") that is deconstructing the Pidge...they're pretty close to figuring out the stitch pattern :teehee:

cant remember where i posted about pidge
found a way to knit this without it curling
i cast on even stitches
knit 1, slip 1 purlways continue across row
end with slip one
rather cute
caused a ruckus on another forum
was told any 5 year old could figure out this scarf
and told designers can charge whatever they want
true
but this is knit on a knitting board which i am not interested
in
so 275.00 is still riduclous for a scarfet
lots of snarky remarks

:nails: What's the point of people being so mean? Maybe it makes them feel superior, but then they've got other problems.

Sheesh!

That's why I love this place! :grphug:

That is rude! Glad you figured out what works for you!

ETA: I saw a scarf pattern like that and I can't remember where! Ack!

I found it!! It's a free sample pattern at Knitting Software!

Maybe you can adapt this to what you want.

You're welcome! It actually looks like you could do any stitch with it, too.
