Hi Everyone,
I'm making the strawberry fruit cap and I want to add the "seeds." To do this, the pattern says to k1 with the contrasting color and then k7 with the main color and so on. Well, I'm not sure how to add new yarn for just one stitch. I'm also working with circular needles. Won't the stitch be loose? Do I cut the main color yarn for just one stitch? Do I knit the CC and then cut it and weave it in? Will it stay if it's just one stitch?

Any help/advice would be most appreciated! Thanks in advance.

You will carry the seed color along the back of your work for the 7 stitches of the master color. I like to twist my seed color around my master color in the back on the 3rd or 4th stitch before I knit my one seed stitch.

Here's a video from Amy on knitting and carrying more than one color. Scoll down until you see How to knit with 2 colors at a time and click on
Stranded Method (http://knittinghelp.com/knitting/advanced_techniques/)

Hope this helps!
