I have question and challenge for you pros!

Hello! I'm going to make a pair of fingerless gloves for a friend of mine who is a big guy. The issue I have is that I can't find "big guy" patterns. I have a pattern for men's fingerless from about.com that's about as close as I can come to! Does anyone out there have a pattern for a big guy for these, I need them 4 1/2" to 5" across at least! I'm going to spin the black alpaca for the main part but am putting a Polaris logo in middle (yes, I'm attempting to graph!). I'm thinking that some of you have a similar issue and have "tweaked" a pattern so I'm looking to your expertise! Thank you so much in advance. Have a great day!:happydance:
