OK here is the baby sweater and booties I made last weekend!! The baby shower for my co-worker is this weekend, her baby is due in December. Made with Encore, using pattern from Knitting Pure and Simple(sweater) and the booties are from a Debby Ware book.

The yarn used was Plymouth Yarn, Encore Colorspun. A self striping yarn. Fun HUH!

Oh my GOSH! I LOVE those booties. Might you share with me the name of the book so I can see if my library has it? I SO want to make a pair of these for my soon to be niece/nephew! They are like little shoes rather than booties and are TOOO precious.

Thanks everyone! As for the book the bootie pattern can be found in a book called Too Cute by Debby Ware. The booties are so fast to knit up! I too love that they look like shoes!!

I made a baby cardigan and little socks from a blue and gray Colorspun. There is a post here (look for my name and the title "Baby Shower..."
The socks in the photo were a freebie pattern from the Plymouth website and designed for Encore worsted weight.

I really like your set. The sweater looks so soft and cozy, and I love the way the stripes worked out. That yarn has a little wool in it doesn't it? I love the rolled edges. The booties are sweet too. This is a great gift.

I too am inlove with those booties thanks for telling us where to find the patterns I was looking for something simple to knit for a parent from the daycare I work at she is due soon and I couldn't find anything I liked ... I will haved to look for that Pattern.:)
