I am so happy I stepped on the scale this morning and there it was the best part is all that I am doing is counting calories and changed my diet a bit,I am still eating about the same amount I have just started making healthier choices I guess the thing that makes it even more exciting is that I was able to lose the weight and I ate out like 4 times over a 10 day period because my inlaws were here.

I have your eight pounds, evidently I stole them from you while I was sleep walking or something.
I have been eating better, exercising on the bike every day and I still haven't lost anything. I'm beginning to attribute it to menopause. :???: I used to lose weight at the drop of a hat, now it's a fight to the death with each pound.

It's muscle!! Muscle weighs more than fat!! :yay:

Congratulations!! I, too, have lost about that amount but it has taken me a year. Granted I don't have much to lose (maaaybe 5lbs more) so I didn't expect it to just fly off, but it's been a lot of hard work! Worth it though.

It's not muscle. The same thing happened to me and my pants are tighter. Once you get to a certain age you have to be very active to even stay the same weight.

Ohhhhhh! You meant honestly :)

Well, when you put it that way....

So, does that mean all the calories don't fall out of broken cookies too? :??

Muscle does weigh more than fat, but it is a lot harder to lose as you get older. It also is apparently easier to put it back on as you get older. Ugh.

Congrats to you though! That success will help you to continue!
