I just thought I'd post a picture of this washcloth I designed. It's basketweave on one side and checkerboard on the other. Sorry if the pics aren't great - the flash was a bit much but I couldn't get the color without it. I think it's too pretty to use for dishes, so I'll just use it on my face. hehe. I didn't block it because I figure, what's the point. So, it's also a little bumpy. :whistle:

I cast on 45 st.
K 6 rows
Row 1: K5, P5, K5, P5, K5, P5, K5, P5, K5
Row 2: Knit all sts.
Continue this pattern for 10 rows.
Then:
Row 1: K10, P5, K5, P5, K5, P5, K10
Row 2: Knit all sts.
Continue this pattern for 10 rows
Alternate the 2 patterns every 10 rows until you just about have a square.
K another 6 rows
Cast off.
I hope you enjoy it. I'm going to start some more to add in with Christmas gifts. :)
