Hello all!
I was blog surfing today, and came across this blog and scarf, which I am totally in love with... but the owner of the blog doesnt know what pattern she used for the scarf... hoping someone here might be able to help.

Any ideas?
Thanks so much!

Looks like a short row scarf of some type..? I didn't find a pattern though. It really is pretty, I'd like to have the pattern, too!

What a great pattern! Could you write directly to the blogger and ask her? I looked through my scarf books and it's not in any of these (at least it will give you a start, knowing where NOT to look:) !:
Scarf Style, Pam Allen
Vogue on the Go, Scarves book 1
Vogue on the Go, Scarves book 2
The Best of Knitters Magazine, Shawls and Scarves
Knit Ponchos, Wraps and Scarves, Davis
Simple 1-2-3, Knitting Scarves

It looks a lot like this one.
I do prefer the pink one though, very pretty.

It might be this one in garter st - http://www.wiseneedle.com/string-or-nothing/PermaLink,guid,08a5d2d5-438b-6079-92d7-0007e96ddfa0.aspx
though the one jints posted is closer.

I had also posted this question over on Ravelry... and someone helped me identify what I think the pattern is. The photo of the WIP on Ravelry is done in blocks of color, so its a bit hard to tell. I am going to check out the book and see if in fact this is the pattern.

I think it is Stacked Wedges, from the book Knitting New Scarves, by Lynne Barr.

Thanks for all the help!

Looks like a multiple of 3 stitches (18 stitches in that pic) doing short rows increasing by 3 stitches knit on each right-side row.
IOW, K3, turn, K3
K6, turn, K6
K9, turn, K9
etc until all the stitches have been used up. Knit one row (to get to the opposite side of the scarf to alternate wedges) Then start all over again.
This is my best guess but would swatch to make sure. :p
