Hi all, I'm new to KnittingHelp and this is my first post. I've been searching for a knitting pattern for a sweater jacket that I knit perhaps 25 years ago. It was knit in an Icelandic type wool. It opens in the front and I did a velcro closure altho you could probably do a few buttons on the yoke front. It was knit in one piece (can't remember if top down or bottom up) with the yoke knit in a narrow rib, with full blouson sleeves with tight cuffs, the body of the sweather jacket (hip length) knit in garter stitch with slanted knit-in pockets. A great sweater! I lost track of the pattern thru the years and have searched in vain for it. Yesterday, I saw an ad for a sweater at Macy's that was the closest I've ever seen of it. I found this image which is close, altho this sweater has a collar and is longer in length. Is anyone familiar with this sweater and know where I might find the pattern. Many thanks!http://www.shoparteffect.com/detail.asp?pfid=AET04054

I have that one I think, it was Lopi maybe? Or one similar, my pattern doesn't have pockets and was a little longer than hip length. Have to dash off to work now, but will look for it over the weekend.
