I've had a tendon thumb injury for the past several weeks-- and I finally decided that I'd try to knit again a couple of days ago- (I'd tried in the past- but, my hand was incapable of making the knitting motions and the doctor told me not to anyway-- so, I couldn't even if I had wanted to.. :D)
ANYWAY.. it's not much-- but, here they are 4" squares knitted to be put together ashttp://farm3.static.flickr.com/2332/1962678731_21bba47c72.jpgfor a 'blanket' to be raffled off to help pay for a child's wheelchair.
It did hurt to knit.. but, at least my hand can do it now. I just knitted 10 minutes.. a couple of times a day until I got both of them finished. I just need to not overdo the knitting nor expect to knit every day for awhile.
SO HAPPY with the return of the knitting ability. :woot:
