Shaping shoulders on baby sweater...

Hello again, it's me, with more questions...

I'm attempting a baby sweater. I'm to the back/shoulder section. Pattern says:

Bind off 11 sts beg next 2 rows. Leave rem 27 sts on a st holder.

I've done the binding off on both sides, but what I'm not sure of is..

Do I continue to purl the rest of the 2nd row after the binding or do I only do the binding then put it on a st holder?

Does that make sense?

I don't think it really matters, as long as you do the same thing on all 4 pieces. It says, though, to put the remaining stitches on a holder after binding off, so I don't think the pattern wants you to finish the row.
