I am new to knitting and I have a question. When a pattern says to knit 1 row does that mean just to the end of that row? Or does it mean knit to the end and back?

Knitting one row is just that, one row. You do not include the way back.

That's a question I struggled with a year ago when I started knitting!

One row is one way. The way back counts as row 2.

Happy knitting.
