FOs: Last of the Christmas gifts

I finished this scarf & hat set a little late, but the son I made it for wasn't home for Christmas so it worked out OK. The scarf is based on the Yarn Harlot's one row scarf (http://www.yarnharlot.ca/blog/archives/2006/10/12/one_row_handspun_scarf.html) but I made it a little wider. Yarn is Mission Falls 1824 Wool superwash merino, which I love. The hat is a simple 1x1 rib in Sirdar Click dk acrylic/wool.

Yes, this is the second scarf I've made from this pattern and I love the texture of it. It's a nice alternative to a ribbed scarf and makes a nice, simple manly scarf. Very quick knit, too!
