I just got off the phone with my cousin and he called to let me know that my Aunt has lung cancer. Apperently she was diagnosed with pnemonia before Christmas and fell a few times and hit her head. Finally a DR sent her for more tests and it was then diagnosed as Lung Cancer and my cousin didn't go with her to the Dr. as she didn't tell him til the last min she was going but he was told it is aggresive and they can not operate but they will do Chemo.
This just sucks majorly I want to know what the heck I have ever done to be through all this. I lost my mom to cancer when I was 12. My dad died when I was 19 and by the time I was 23 I lost all four grandparents, my parents, an aunt and an uncle. Since then I have lost my favorite uncle(the one who walked me down the aisle when I got married), my sisters best friend who was like another sister to me, our very good friends son just before Christmas, I've had a miscarriage, almost lost my husband in an accident at work and Lord knows what I can't think of right now and I am only 32 and have been to more funerals than most people ever go to in their lifetimes. And now it sounds like the prognosis aint real good here. She is using a walker to get around has never missed more than a day or two of work when her back went out otherwise was always at work always on the go. She is getting close to being able to retire as she has enough years in with the company she works for. Sorry so long just really needed to vent about this.

I'm so sorry to hear this. Cancer does indeed suck. It's so unfair. I lost my grandpa to lung cancer almost 10 years ago.

Hopefully the chemo will help her, as much as chemo can.

You will be in my thoughts.

Just an update. My Aunt lost her battle with Cancer a week ago. It was a shock and very upsetting as she would have been my legal gardian if something happened to my dad before I was 18 as my mom passed away when I was 12. And she did live with us at one time so it has been hard for me to deal with this one but thought I would let you all know what has been going on in my world.

My aunt has been recently diagnosed with lung cancer as well. I also lost my mom to cancer when I was 20 and right now my dad is in the hospital with pneumonia and emphysema. You are not alone.
