I made both of these for a swap partner on another forum...

Curly Purly soaker...for a nb...so tiny and sweet..I used 100purewool 1ply that I had dyed (lots leftover from another project) and double stranded it for thickness.

Soap sweater..had fun making this. First time with 4 dpns and it proved a little challenging but i won!!

Hot off the needles...well not really...finished it last night and felted it. Just sewed it together...so hot off the yarn needle LOL. This pattern is called Origami Purse and I got it a lys. The yarn is noro...not sure about the colorway but like the fo. The yarn is scratchier than I had hoped. But I like it overall.

That soaker is adorable! I found that soap sweater pattern on Ravelry and sent it to my aunt- who immediately made a whole bunch! Have you used it yet? They're really great, a lot softer than I thought it would be. I can't wait to make my own. Great job!

You know, I have the soaker pattern and was a little iffy about making it. I didn't like the way it looked when not on a baby, so I didn't think I'd like it ON a baby if you know what I mean. But seeing yours....I think I'll try it as soon as I get some decent wool. Somehow I don't think cotton or synthetic will work as an absorbable soaker :p

I made soakers for my son, what a memory flash yours gave me. Little bugger was allergic to (then new) disposable diapers, so we used cloth and soakers.

Love the color, and really like the purse colorway also.

what's a soaker? I'm guessing baby undies??? In lieu of diaper? over cloth diapers? over disposable diapers? for bathing or swimming? It's cute!

I especially love the soap sweater!
