Just wanted to show y'all one of my current projects. This is actually the second scarf I've knitted. The pattern is a basic garter stitch. I picked up the yarn at Wal-Mart a few years ago and didn't really do anything with it. I'm looking to get it at least 5 times the current length. (If I had remembered before I cast on 100 stitches that it was going to be so wide I would have done a lot fewer.) Let me know what you guys think of it so far.

Wow, looks like neat stitching! How wide is it?

Lookin' Good
You can always fold it over if it is to wide...I wear a lace shawl as a scarf this way :happydance:

I am doing my best to keep the stitching nice. I estimated that the width is about 16.5 to 17 inches.
The yarn itself can be found at Wal-Mart. It is Red Heart Super Saver color 0938 Stars & Stripes.
