But there's just something that just wont let me sleep. I've google, I've goggled, Ive eBayed, i've cruised auctions, i've looked at 4 million blogs, I traveleld (iiiin my mind) to the ends of the earth to find out just what is a KNIT WIT???;)
Is it a Knitting nancy (gad,m I'd give my left little toe just to find one of those, fond memories my freinds, the memories.....
but, in all my life, I have never (and seems , will never experience the delight some persons express when discussing KNITWIT......as if it waw some childhood secret that I was left out in the cold about, and obviouskty why I am not the worlds' virtuoso at knitting....
so call me one, but what the heck is it, whats' its' allure and why has it been kept from me the whole of my 48 years on this planet!:grphug:
Is it knitting for alienism, venusians, mercuricans, plutonians, aquarians or where lies this greatest of secrets????
Nanu nanu??? Nork calling worsted, Nork calling worsted!

PS My offer still stands and MY PRIDE DELETED bUT MY Dream still unfulfilled ABOUT THE kNITTING NANCY!

sincerest thanks~and :muah: IF someone lets me in on the BIG secret!

Huh? Isn't a Knitwit just someone who likes to knit a lot? That's the way I've always used it. Never heard of Knitting Nancy.

Ohhhh I see. I didn't know they had a name like that. Yes, those do make i-cords. I think they are also called spools or spool knitters..

Here's a few links I found.

Oh here's a few where you can make your own.

Gee, I thought it was 'nitwit.' We all know what that means. I much prefer to be referred to as the other: Knit Wit.
