Edging Help

I just finished a knit shawl, and it needs something on the bottom edge. I don't want to do a fringe.
I attached pics of the shawl and the yarn I would like to use. Does anyone have an idea for me. I have not crocheted in years, so a very simple stitich is the key here.
The shawl will not be a fancy one, just an over the shoulder while I read one.
Any ideas. Thanks

OK, I decided to go with a fringe, since the shawl was a simple garter stitch the fringe really dressed it up just a bit.

you could do a simple crochet Picot edging. if you aren't sure how, youtube has a lot of videos on that or maybe nexstitch.com :thumbsup:
