When I heard about the new yarn lines Malabrigo was going to come out with I contacted Tobias about test knitting.
I was sent a generous amount of DOS, their new 2 ply fingering weight yarn. It will be available later this year and comes in 320 yard hanks. Note DOS is not superwash, but the sock yarn will be.

This is one of the 4 hanks I was sent.
The stitch definition is wonderful.

My stitches remained beautifully defined even after a warm soak and hand wash in the sink.

I really don’t mind handwashing special items, so I knit up a pair of socks.

The yarn has just the right amount of bounce to make the socks hug your feet. The stitch definition looks beautiful in lace and the colorways are wonderfully muted so it doesn’t fight with the stitch pattern.
Many more pictures and a full review of DOS are on my blog (http://www.fearthefrog.blogspot.com/).
Many thanks to Tobias and Malabrigo for allowing me to test this yarn. It has been a great experience! DOS will definitely be one of my favorite yarns!
