Beginner... Have a question please.

Hello, I'm a beginner. I have a question. I doing 1x1 ribbing on a scarf. For the edge the 1st and last stitch of every other row is to be sl pw. My question is, when I begin my next row after slipping the 1st stitch, is my next stitch a knit or a pearl? Sorry, but I can't figure this out... any help would be great. Thanks

It's still the 2nd st. Just do whatever you would have done if you hadn't slipped the 1st st.
