way too big!!!

I have made one pair of socks that fit pretty well ( a little big), so I stared a second pair, but with a different sock yarn, well this sock is huge on me!! I really loved the color and pattern it made too! So my question is would you frog the whole thing and start over? Gees how I hate to do that, OR make the other one and find someone that the sock will fit...not big enough for my husband. I just know you are are going to tell me start over......maybe if I let it sit a few days it won't bother me as much to frog the thing.

Gotta love a straightforward honest answer. I would frog it too. Check gauge as you go along so you don't finish and suddenly find out that it was too big. Or too small!
