I made this sundress for my friend Amy's 7 month old daughter Amaris (A-mare-is). I loved making this and I can't wait to get a picture of her in it. :)

I used GGH Samoa yarn in light blue and the pattern is Emma's Sundress (http://www.knittingnotionsonline.com/index.php/action/item/id/94/prevaction/category/previd/13/prevstart/0/) by Knitting Notions.

That's a lovely little dress. Who says girls can't wear blue! This does look very feminine.

Thanks! I'm going to make another one too but I am going to make it in the round rather than having to seam it up - although it was too bad to seam. It was my first time and I enjoyed the process.

Thank you! I used GGH Samoa yarn in Light Blue. You can see it here on Ravelry (http://www.ravelry.com/yarns/library/ggh-samoa)or here (http://www.yarnandfiber.com/catalog/gghyarn.php?cPath=681_1080)if you aren't on Ravelry. I just followed the directions except I did the main lace pattern repeat 4 times instead of 3 to lengthen it a bit. I used the needles size recommended by the yarn (I didn't put it down on Ravelry so I can't remember.) Amaris is 7 months old and you see how it fits her.

I think it would be easy to make it bigger too - the main lace pattern repeat is 8 stitches so you could increase by 8 to make it wider and you can increase the length as needed.

The yarn was really nice to work with. I am going to make this again. :)
