Response from prayer shawl

My co-workers mother was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer about a month ago. I knit her a prayer shawl and I received the kindest note from her, saying that no one has ever done anything like that for her before and she has never owned anything so beautiful! I was just so happy that she appreciated it and will enjoy it...very gratifying. My co-worker was thrilled with it also..

How nice of you to knit that for her. It's wonderful to know she appreciated it. I was soooo nervous giving the the first few prayer shawls I didn't know how they would be received. I've done several now and have found that people love them.
