I am making the Monkey Socks out of Ambrosia yarn. It feels wonderful - is knitting up wonderfully! My problem - one skein isn't enough for one sock. I bought 2 skeins thinking that would be enough. So I was going to go ahead & purchase another skein - & I cant find the same color. I originally bought this at a local yarn store- they have since not carried any more of it!!! The color is a purple/bluish color - but the color # says its 249 - looking on line - that color number is a GARNET - a RED!!! HUH? I'm so confused on what to do now! There is one skein that looks like the same color but I'm afraid to gamle - if I have to - I will - but any suggestions?
