I was wondering if anyone had patterns for car seat blankets or half blankets that I can quickly knit for baby showers????? I have 5 expectant mommies expecting a knitted gift. I had received a car seat blanket after my son was born, and it is the perfect size for everything, so I thought it best to share the wealth, so to speak. Anyway, help would be most appreciated!!!

This is a very simple blanket pattern for a car seat. It is cute and the instructions look fairly simple, so it should work up quite fast

follow the pdf link ... http://www.y2knit.net/Patterns/carseat.pdf

This one has a hole for the seat belt.

A stroller blanket would be about the same size I think.

It would really be easy to come up with something on your own. You just need to figure out how many to co the first time and go from there. ;)

I just finished a car seat blanket and posted it in the Whatcha Knittin' section. Directions are in this thread.

Here's what the rainbow blanket looks like.
