i missed you guys!!!... hehe i havent been here in a while.. i was learning knitting and than switched to the dark side and now i crochet.. i didnt know you had a crochet section here.. WoOooOoo lol
this is what im currently working on... i started it to be a sweater.. and than i realized i started it a size to big and the yarn im useing is hard to frog most likely becuase i work tight... so i decided to just use the same stitch pattern and just make it a blanky... so thats what im doing lol
these pics were taken a couple days ago... its 60 inches wide and at the time 11 inches thick...im not sure what it is now im to lazy to mesure it right now and i detoured and made a hat yesterday lol (hat in the summer... thats how i roll lmao)

and here is my hat detour... its bigger than it should be (sizeing is not my skill)... i didnt pick the colors.. my friend did he said he wanted it green and pink ugly like.. so there you go lol

The hat and model are really cute! Why don't you turn it into a hall runner instead of a blanket? Since it is 11 inches thick it will make a nice soft runner to walk on. Have fun finishing it!!!

Both the hat (and your model!!) are cute! I like the pink and green together-and the "blanket" or whatever it will turnout to be looks *very* soft and cuddly!

Maybe the colours come up different on the screen, but I have to say I love the hat, cute model too. your blanket is looking good.

Wow, I started off with crochet, but I can't do that. Shell patterns and varying the number of stitches is lost on me because I always lose track of where I am. I crochet'ed a big blanket for my dorm room bed in college a couple of years ago, but I just alternated single crochet, double crochet in long rows over and over again until it was wide enough.

You may have started off with knitting, but your crochet skillz are definitely awesome.
