:hair: On my old computer I had downloaded or maybe it was just a link..I don't know, but it was sort of thing that you could generate a fake email just for sites like coupon sites or something to help control spam. I've done a bit of searching, but I can't find what it was. It was effective and easy to use. Anyone have any ideas?

Still looking, but I came across this..anyone tried it?
http://www.mailinator.com/

ETA: Okay, I used mailinator and it seems to work. Still would like the other thing though. It was something you downloaded I guess so you could right click on the box and it would generate an email.

why not just create a gmail account specifically for internet usage and questionable stuff....

ie: your home email address:

Jan@rogers.com

your spam email:

Jan@gmail.com

then, you just pick between the two whenever you need to enter an email address....

(It works for me)

That's also what I do. I have my main email, a yahoo that I give out to places I don't want to hear from and a gmail account that I use for craft sites.

Yes, that is a good idea, too. Thank you.
