Although Noro isn't particularly soft, I am attracted to the amazing rainbow hues of the skeins...so I am working up a wonderful Noro scarf that I'm sure will quite literally go with anything!!!

Oh my! How delicious! It reminds me of a Rainbow Popsicle!
What is the color number? Is it NORO Kureyon...or Silk Garden?

Dollyce,
It's Noro Kureyon #170 Dye lot E - it does look like a popsicle, lol!

I'm with you...the colors of Noro are amazingly bright and vibrant. I'm not sure that I could do the Kureyon for a scarf, having used it for many booga bags. BUT, your's is quite lovely and tempting... :inlove:
Now, I think the Noro Silk stuff would be divine to touch. I'm not sure if you'd get the color hues though.
Back to the point of this post...
GREAT job!!!

Very pretty! I love the colors of Noro but haven't ever seen it or felt it...kinda nervous about ordering it since so many say it's scratchy but it's tempting :teehee:

It is pretty scratchy...I was thinking that the scarf would be one looped around a turtleneck or something instead of up against my skin. I hear the Silk Garden is less scratchy, so that might be an option for you. It also felts beautifully so if you have a felting project, that might be an option too.

So so pretty!
I've only used Kureyon once for a Caliometry - loved the colors, but wasn't in love with the feel knitting it. It softened a bit in washing though, which was nice. I haven't knit with Silk Garden yet ... although I treated myself to a sweaters worth a month or so ago and I can't wait!! Gotta love a yarn sale!
