Awww. My new granddaughter would love those ;)
They would look nice without the ribbons, but the ribbons make them look darling.
Nice job!

Mason, they are adorable. I'm going to tell you this, but I say this as a friend; if they don't smoke, you better get the smoke smell out, before giving it to them. Please tell me that I didn't overstep.

They're adorable . . . any baby would be proud to wear them.

For some reason the thought of you going in to buy a quarter yard of pink ribbon cracks me up.

Not overstepping at all :)

It's not an issue as they do, but I'll be washing and deodorizing them anyway before mailing. As they're for a baby I want them as clean as possible.

Actually I got the yarn and the ribbon from Mom. She has an amazing supply of such stuff.

Very nicely done, Mason. The mother is sure to love them!

I didn't know how to knit when my kids were babies, so I've never done booties, but you're inspiring me to try them just for fun.:)

Hey, those turned out very nicely. They look the same (a challenge) and the ribbons will help hold them on. Are you going to make your blue ones using this pattern you developed, or try another idea?

I'm trying to work out a variation for the blue ones. So far I've frogged them a dozen times or so

Are these the booties that a trucker friend asked you to make several months ago?
You did a really nice job. They are so cute.
But it makes me laugh to imagine a big tough guy like you knitting little tiny pink booties.
I think I read somewhere an article about a male knitter who said at first it was daring to just knit in public, then when people got used to that it was daring to knit lace. But the cutting edge of daring was for a guy knitter to be seen knitting baby items in public! You are so cutting edge daring.
