pattern help

Hi all,

I need some help...I am reading a pattern for baby booties and it is using a term called inc..what does this mean.

like it said k5, inc, k7, inc and so on...i have try to look this up with no luck..can someone help me.

That's just short for "increase". Your pattern may tell you which increase to use, if not choose one that you like to do best.
